I am a GS12 and I am interested in a position that is GS 5/7 with the promotion potential of GS12.
I applied and it only gives the option of 5 or 7 when asked what is the lowest grade I am willing to accept. The position says the promotion potential is GS12.
My question is, if I apply, will they put me in as a 12 and match my pay since it has the promotion potential of 12, or will they put me as a 7 since the only options to choose as the lowest grade are 5 or 7?
