I've been fighting an infestation, fairly light compared to what I've seen around here.
I found that they were breeding behind the refrigerator, and after I used the usual store bought insecticides they returned there sometime in the next month or two.
This led me here, where I've seen what products I can try to permanently put a stop to them.
I've ordered the Alpine, I'm picking up an IGR, I've looked into where to use it, how to mix, what concentration the products should have, etc.
The missing element here is how to apply the insecticide. I had a thought.
I have an empty Ortho perimeter sprayer that I've used up and haven't gotten around to disposing the container and sprayer. Can I open that bad boy up and mix my bug eradication juice in there, and use it to spray.
There might be a few residual drops of the Ortho spray at the bottom, but it probably would be trivial to get the thing pretty well cleaned out.
Thoughts? I guess, worst case scenario I can go a bit out of my way to pick up some cheap empty spray bottle for pesticide at a place that does garden supply.
