First off, I have to disclose that REAL cops showed up to my son's house last night claiming that he was in danger. He wasn't home. I also got a call from REAL cops and it went straight to voicemail. (Actually they got robokiller trolled 😂)
However shortly after my son got a call from (877) 838-4770. He called back today. The guy didn't ask for money, probably didn't have time, but he antagonized my boy and when he asked for his name, he said, "Sheriff f**k your mother" and hung up. I heard that with my own ears.
So either this is a very elaborate scam involving swatting, a revenge move by someone that he has wronged (maybe an ex?) or it's a real cop that needs to have his job reevaluated. Incidentally, my son's number was blocked after that, so I'm thinking NOT real cop. A real cop hopes you call back and say something stupid
