Hello! I know this issue probably didn’t make much noise here but there has recently been a lot of noise online about how Indonesia’s largest IMAX, and one of only 3 CoLa installations in the nation, has extremely visible dust squares where the screen shakers are located. As a lifelong patron of this IMAX, this issue has only gotten significantly worse with time as they continuously neglect the much needed maintenance of the screen. I emailed Cinema XXI regarding this about a year ago, and was met with no response. I emailed the IMAX CQO just a couple days ago, and got a response! I hope this finally sparks something, because it has become pretty unacceptable, especially for a company that has a monopoly over the IMAX brand here. You can see how the dust squares look in the second image. If you live anywhere near North Jakarta, this is practically your only choice for IMAX, because even aside from the fact that traffic to the other two locations is insane, Agora only uses an XT projector and Gandaria has a considerably smaller screen.
