Interview tips - estimator position at a roofing company.
Hello everyone! This is my first time posting here.**i did plan to post in the estimators sub but they have rules against it.**
I have recently been called to interview for an estimator position at a roofing company. My interview is with both company owners and their lead estimator. My previous experience is as follows:
I have been working as a commercial service coordinator at a flooring company and i also have been doing takeoffs and preparing bids on measure squared for flooring /tile and gypsum projects. I started estimation back in November.
I have no prior experience with roofing , i was told in my pre interview call with them that they use plan swift and they said its somewhat easy to use.
I would really like if you could share with me what i should expect in the interview and what should i prepare before hand? Thanks in advance!
