2 weeks of flu decreased CVA by 2.5 years?
For some background information, I am a congenital heart patient, I’ve had two valve replacements as a kid, and according to my cardiologist, another replacement is coming up soon. I have a 25 year old bio prosthetic pulmonary valve that is showing some stenosis and I’ve been feeling more symptomatic in the last few months.
When I first got my ring last year, my CVA was “ much older” lol and as I’ve been slowly working on my health, it’s been coming down little by little. About 1-2 years a month. I know this is not a direct measure of health, but just a good way to track progress and I have a making progress.
My confusion is that at the end of April, I was at +10.5 years . Now I’m at +8. What did I do differently to have such drastic improvement in two weeks? Take care of two kids sick with the flu and then catch it myself. I’ve been bedridden for the last 4 days and that’s where I’ve noticed the steepest decline.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thank you
