[US] birthdate and picture scam
Hello r/scams --
I was just on a walk and a man approached me and started talking to me. Long story short, I let him take a picture of me, he asked my nationality, and told him my birthday. Is this grounds for legitimate concern?
After the interaction I realized how weird it was. It was an older guy who seemed harmless. Is this only a point of concern for catfishing-related situations, or should I worry about something else happening?
