First I want to say that I filed as a US citizen for my Mom back in March 2025 , only got an email after I paid the fee but no form I-797 at all and wondering if I did something wrong and what the wait time is looking like.
Hello ! So as the tittle said , I submitted my moms i130 exactly on my birthday back in March 1st 2025 , paid the fee and all and as of today , the option to even check the progress in my online USCIS account has disappeared and it’s been 14 months since I applied and haven’t heard back.
Did I do something wrong ? It’s been her dream to come back to the US.(I’m a us citizen )
I heard people have gotten it approved in 2 months but closer to a year and I’m well past that , how do I even check the status if it’s not showing in my portal
