woke up one morning to two emails about unauthorized Max plan charges adding up to around $200, plus failed attempts for another $400. The weird part is that my API account only had about $10 in credits, so somehow my API token got cloned or compromised and used for purchases I never approved.
I immediately contacted support, opened tickets, sent evidence, explained everything, and after almost 3 weeks I still haven’t gotten a real response. Most of the time it just feels like I’m talking to an AI chatbot instead of an actual person. To make things even stranger, after all of this happened, my account ended up getting suspended too.
Am I the only one who thinks this situation is really suspicious? I can’t imagine this is an isolated case. If this happened to me, there are probably other people dealing with the same issue and just not talking about it publicly.
I’m mainly posting this to ask:
- Has this happened to anyone else?
- Did you ever get an actual response from support?
- Were your charges refunded?
- Did your account also get restricted or suspended afterward?
I genuinely want to hear other people’s experiences because right now this whole situation feels incredibly poorly handled.
