I'm 96 k maratha. Got a well paying job. Not dependant on my parents for a penny. I'm in a relationship with a bengali guy. He's a total overachiever in terms job, academic pedigree and everything. His family is well educated and progressive who won't really mind accepting me.

But I think a lot about my family. They've never forced me for anything and we haven't really talked about it but it's a given for them that I'll marry a Maratha. They're really sweet parents so I don't know how to approach this topic when the time comes. A lot of my time goes on worrying about this. We're both 24 now.
