I'm not sure if this is the right subreddit for this question, remove if not.

One of my two male backyard ducks died today and I'm afraid the other is going to get lonely.

I have a friend that is willing to take him, They already have a flock of ducks, male and female, I'm not sure how old exactly but maybe a year?

I'm afraid they won't except him or will harm him. He is male, a little less than 2 years old. it's breeding season and he was the dominant of the two

It won't be up to me how they introduce him but I just want to know that it's possible and he will be okay?
