In 2017, City Council voted to allow Golf Carts on Davis Island. This allowed any golf cart, not just ones with street legal status.
While there are already people cruising around in golf carts, I've heard people reporting that TPD is conducting stops and either threatening citations or impounding. I personally think one of the only cool things about the suburbs is cruising around on a golf cart, going to people's houses, parks, etc.
So before I put in the effort to try and get petition signatures, approach civic associations, get in front of City Council - What are your thoughts?
Don't care, support the idea, oppose the idea.
