My lease is up August 1st. I don't plan on staying here as I don't love the area and plan on having a family soon.

I have no family or really any friends here, so I don't want to raise kids here (along with not loving the area too much), so I've decided to move back home.

Apologies for the backstory. My question is how early should I start applying for jobs if I want to stop working here and start moving around Mid July? Now, a month from now, yesterday?

I just feel weird applying for jobs and then letting them know I can't start for another two months. A month seems more reasonable, but I don't want to screw myself with the hiring process taking forever, or the search in general.
