I have a rant to share about laser hair removal pricing to see if anyone else is frustrated by the same thing.
I have had a lot of laser hair removal and electrolysis over the last 3 decades. With hormone changes I have to get touch ups every few years. However, every time I'm ready for another round I am not able to compare prices and lasers because most places require a consultation before receiving that information. I already know the risks, reward, what hair and skin color takes it the best, how many treatments will be needed, and how hair cycles and folicals work, etc. I've been through it too many times.
I would love to be able to look at each website in my city to compare costs and lasers and then choose that place to make an appointment/consultation (I don't necessarily want the cheapest). I feel like more people may utilize these kinds of treatments if this barrier was removed. I end up putting off getting more treatment because I know I have to waste so much time just to be told all the things I already know in order to see what they charge.
I can't be the only one that runs into this. How do we get the industry to be more transparent about pricing?
