I am an egyptian ophthalmologist, and I have been assigned to conduct a research regarding the effects of topical losartan on corneal haze/scarring mostly post infectious keratitis.

Commercially the active ingredient is only available as tabelts for HTN treatment.

What i learned so far.

1- losartan K+ is water soluble can be mixed with perservative-free lubricant eye drops.

2- the inactive ingredients needs to be filtered out using 0.22 micron syringe filter??

The ph of the solution needs to be around 7.4

I am not a pharmacist and I really need help, tips and tricks to make this solution work since resources here aren't widely available.
