I’m a new barista and training at a different store but was told that I wouldn’t be getting my share of the cash tips cause I’m just a borrowed partner, which I kinda find unfair since my social skills with customers contribute towards them tipping. Is this common?? It just seems like cash tips have to be processed a certain way instead of just dividing them at the end of the shift, which is how we would do it at my old job.
