A foreign couple shared how strikingly different their experience was in the Indian plains versus the Indian Himalayan states

They shared the prices of everything they ate at popular tourist spots, and it was all completely fair. Not once were they scammed or charged any 'tourist price.' On the other hand, so many Indian tourists always complain about getting overcharged in the hills and feeling robbed

Why do so many Pahadi men with good jobs and stable careers still strictly wait for a bride only from their own community, instead of considering compatible women from other cultures?

My 35-year-old cousin is a decent-looking, fit guy with a solid 3week WFH, 1week office job and good salary. The family has rejected multiple Pahadi proposals for reasons like..... one girl studied in a government school, another only did BA, one was too short, and one because her father had a drinking problem, etc. They’re still waiting for the “perfect” match, but no one has even suggested looking outside the Pahadi community.

I was raised in Hyderabad and have never dated a Pahadi girl. Honestly, I don’t see any major difference between educated, working Pahadi girls and girls from other communities when class, education, and values match. So what’s really stopping us?

Is it a trust issue? the fear that a non-Pahadi woman won’t understand or adjust to our culture, food, traditions, and family expectations? Is it about preserving our identity and self-respect? Or are we simply not open-minded enough?

Now they will go to Punjab and talk trash about Pahadis. They'll hurl abuses on Instagram, swear at girls, and tell everyone how Pahadis mistreated them in their state
