RIP Engineers
Its only a matter of time and i already see the change. If your job is on computer you will soon be obsolete.

People choosing CSE/Software Engineering today really need to think carefully about where the industry is heading.
AI is advancing at an unbelievable pace. A huge portion of coding is already being accelerated through prompt engineering, AI copilots, and “vibe coding.” Companies are increasingly shifting toward AI-generated code, and even leaders at companies like Anthropic and other top AI firms have openly discussed how rapidly AI is improving at software development tasks.
The real question is: if someone spends 4 years studying engineering today, will companies still hire freshers primarily to write code by the time they graduate?
This is the reality many people are ignoring.
Globally, hiring for entry-level software engineers has already slowed significantly compared to previous years. Companies now need fewer engineers for the same amount of output because AI tools are boosting productivity dramatically. These colleges will fill their pockets in the name of selling you name sake AI/ML and CSE courses but the biggest losers will be the innocent students who blindly followed.
If there’s one profession that will face major disruption first from AI, it’s likely traditional software engineering roles focused mainly on coding. That doesn’t mean tech is dead far from it, but it does mean people should seriously consider building skills in areas that are harder to automate.
Please share more details about it. And which branches can avail it.
For the counseling application, i only see the option to choose one program. Isn’t it supposed to be multiple choices?
What happens if my preferred category is not available?
