Hi,

I’m moving out pretty soon and have been thinking about playing around with some home automation/assistant set ups but I don’t really know where to start tbh.

I am going to have an Eufy battery camera set up with a Homebase 3 (I know this isn’t 24/7 and cameras only activate when triggered but as an easy initial set up this is most feasible for me).

I will also have some kind of phone controlled central heating system (unsure of the brand/app as of yet).

What are some things I should look into getting/trying for the set up?

I’m not necessarily looking at spending loads of money right off the batt, but in future may looking to enhance various aspects.
