[Online] [5e 2014] [21+] [EST] [Mondays, 1pm to 4pm] Running the "Lost Mine of Phandelver" module in a Homebrew world.
Hello everyone!
My name is Joseph (Jo for short) and I started DM'ing back in 2018 and continued on until about early 2022, where I got pretty burned out and went on hiatus for the next few years. I've only recently gotten back into TTRPGs and now I'm looking to host my next long running game.
We'll be using Discord for voice and Roll20 for the actual game, though I'm looking to switch to foundry at some in the near future.
I'll be running the official module of "The lost mine of Phandelver" that's been modified to fit into my own setting. The module starts at level 1 and ends at level 5, though once that module is finished I'll present the party with the option to continue on with another module using those same characters. We'll be using the old 2014 rules and any official sourcebooks that go with it. Internet homebrew is ok, but must be ran by me before the game starts. Further character creation rules can be discussed during session 0.
My setting also has expanded lore for Humans, Dwarfs, Changelings, Tabaxi, Minotaurs and Kobolds, so you will receive a little extra info if you choose to play any of those races.
I've already got two players lined up and waiting, so we need another two players to fill out the party. They are both spell casters, one wizard and one sorcerer, so healers and martials are appreciated, though are not mandatory, since the game can be balanced around party comp.
If you're interested, please fill out this short form: https://forms.gle/Z72mka71Sq4N6JnM8
The form will remain open until Wednesday, then I'll begin contacting people on Thursday and Friday, though depending on how many forms I get back and how fast people respond, it could stretch into the weekend. I'm looking to hold session 0 next week Monday, on the 18th, then start the game proper on the 1st of June.
