Spouse approved for benefits, will they deduct part B Medicare?
My spouse just received his acknowledgement of benefits effective June 2026. He has applied at age 70.
I’ve been paying the Medicare Part B premium since his age 65 quarterly.
The acknowledgment letter seems to indicate they’ll be deducting that payment from his benefits going forward.
I’m reticent to end the autopay until I’m certain. I don’t want him to lose benefits.
Can anyone tell me if they’ll be deducting his part B payments from his benefits?
Thank you in advance.
