Both of the have been amazing for me. I have reached division 1 in last few seasons and they have been amazing for me even tho people will start to argue that their ID are not good compared to the standard CB that is trending but on the basis of their performance I love these guys. These guys being DMF and having skills like phenomenal passing (Makelele) and visionary passing (Beckenbauer) and passing stat above 80 gives them more advantage as passing was nerfed in the recent update
Beckenbauer's positioning and speed is really good he can even catch up fast St only issue with his is his jump and physical but if you know when and how to use sliding tackle he works soo well his only weakness is tall and strong ST.
Makelele is very similar to beckenbauer somehow better because of his physical, he is very fast with high acceleration, sometimes he leaves gaps position wise but he can catchup really quick. his weakness is his height any strong tall striker can break him too
both characters have similar weakness but on ground they are amazing, the only issue u face is when i face a cross spammer but at that time I mark the crossers and it works.
