Inspired by promising but early results from BioNTech and Moderna I created a portfolio of mostly cancer vaccine themed publicly traded companies. Both personalized and off the shelf approaches are included. Personalized cancer vaccines are probably the more promising approach. Here is the breakdown:

  • BioNTech (BNTX): 20%
  • Moderna Inc. (MRNA): 15%
  • ImmunityBio Inc. (IBRX): 15%
  • Immatics N.V. (IMTX): 10%
  • Candel Therapeutics (CADL): 8%
  • Inovio Pharma (INO): 8%
  • Agenus Inc. (AGEN): 5%
  • Evaxion Biotech (EVAX): 5%
  • Elicio Therapeutics (ELTX): 5%
  • Anixa Biosciences (ANIX): 5%
  • PDS Biotech (PDSB): 4%

Sitting at a coffee shop and bored so created a reddit account. Not looking for advice but curious to see if anyone has anything intelligent to add. Can someone also make sure these add up to 100%.

No such thing as a single cure for cancer. Each cancer is a disease of its own therefore the personalized approach based on the patient's own tumor DNA/RNA seems promising. Plus, many of these approaches aim to be used in conjunction with immunotherapies where the vaccine makes the cold tumor hot, and then IO does the rest.
