anybody successfully add a 3rd party (non jackery battery) to this unit? i'm not sure i want want pay another 2k usd for another battery. =/

My insurance denied my request for a disc replacement, even after evaluations from two different surgeons. I have a congenital fusion at C2–C3 and a straightened cervical spine. These factors are considered contraindications for disc replacement.

Mt doctors and I spent five months appealing this decision, submitting over 400 pages of documentation. Now, my only remaining surgical option is a laminoforaminotomy.

I am unsure about having a foraminotomy or laminoplasty. However, I am leaning toward it because disc replacements can fail in patients who should not have received them. I want to get this right the first time and hope to avoid needing another decompression surgery in the future. And I definitely do not want to have to revise a disc replacement only to receive a surgery I wanted to avoid altogether (a fusion).
