Hello!

I am traveling to Sayulita this week for a friend's bachelorette trip and am a little nervous about eating because I have Celiac Disease (very strict gluten free diet). I was trying to look up the label for Gluten Free in Mexico and I'm seeing that there isn't one officially. Basically, I'm looking for any advice on what is safe in grocery stores (outside of the obvious, I mean if I can only eat fruits and vegs whatever) and if there are any safe restaurants in the area!

Any experiences & advice would be much appreciated!

EDIT: thank you so much to everyone who responded! This is my first time out of the country since being diagnosed and flare ups are absolutely brutal on my body. Just trying to stay well (:
