Who's Going To The Devil's Arse With Me? (Castleton, Derbyshire. England)
I know you wanted to know....so, it was called Devil's Arse because of the loud, flatulent sounds produced when floodwaters drain from the cave mouth. The name was changed to "Peak Cavern" in the late 1800s to avoid offending Queen Victoria. What is there to do there, you ask? Meh, not much. I just wanted to post the Devil's Arse. But there are 4 caverns and Peveril Castle. The castle is one of England’s oldest fortress ruins, and visitors are allowed to go all the way to the top of it.
