I recently got a PS5 Disc Edition from an authorized dealer in Chennai for ₹52.4K. Since I live in Pune, I asked a friend to collect it on my behalf, and the console is currently with him in Chennai.

Now I’m planning to ship it from Chennai to Mumbai and wanted to understand the risks involved in couriering such an expensive electronic item.

I’m okay paying extra for a premium/safe delivery service my main priority is that the PS5 reaches me safely and without damage.

I’m currently considering DTDC, but I’d really appreciate suggestions on:

Which courier service is the safest and most reliable for electronics
Precautions to take before shipping
Whether insurance is recommended
Packaging tips to avoid damage or theft

Would love to hear from anyone who has shipped a PS5 or other expensive electronics across cities.

Any visible construction progress, internal work, OC status, handover prep, etc. apart from the usual updates we keep hearing from CRM?
