Hi everyone,

To preface, I live in louisiana so the weather is very humid and I need help getting the temperature down.

I have roughly a 336 sq ft garage that is currently home to me and my gfs 4 dogs. She moved in during the winter of this past year but with it getting hot, we are looking for ways to keep it cool for them. Putting them inaide is not an option as we are currently acclimating 3 cats in the house to the dogs and its a long process.

We have a portable AC unit in the garage that I know is big enough but it doesnt seem to be doing much even though it runs 24/7. If I was to put insulation on the inside of the garage door, would that significantly improve the conditions inside the garage?

Looking for any suggestions to help pimp this place out so the dogs have a nice cool spot to get away from the heat without putting animals in jeopardy eith each other inside.

Thanks in advance!

I have an Amana dishwasher (the model number is adb1500awb) that leaks every time it's used. It seems as though there's more water outside the dishwasher than inside.

I've seen online that people say to clear the filer and drain hose so yesterday I got in the thing and took it apart. I couldn't find a filter but was able to clean some stuff out the drain hose (didn't look like enough to cause a blockage).

Well the dang thing is still leaking. I don't really have the expenses to go and buy a new one but I don't know if there's anything else I can do to help save my bank account. Does anyone know what else I can try to do?
