Hey all. I'm looking for a romance novel that includes the themes of religious trauma and/or deconstruction within the plot. How does the religiosity impact the ramonce/sex life of these characters? How can they overcome it? Do they overcome it?

I'm admittedly trying to write a story myself, and while I have a solid idea, unfortunately for my story (but fortunately for me) I did not grow up in a household that created religious trauma. So I'm trying to find it and learn about it elsewhere.

I've also been trying to look into research papers about the subject, but papers about this topic can be tricky to find.

Anyway, I'd love any and all suggestions. I'd prefer fiction but will certainly take non-fiction, too.
