I say Odysseus killing the suitors was more of an execution since he is the king and they were plotting against the royal family

She said it was supposed to show he was basically evil and the whole point was that he was willing to kill people to get back

(SHE IS IN NO WAY JUSTIFIING R@PE BTW)

I just finished EPIC and I noticed something about no longer you in the chorus.

"I see a song of past romance."(Odysseus and Penelope before war presumely)

"I see the sacrifice of man"(Odysseus choosing his crew over his life)

"I see portrayals on betrayal"(Eurylochus opening the bag or Odysseus sacrificing them)

"And a brothers final stand"(maybe them fighting back after Odysseus sacrificed them. Sorry for the third mention)

"I see you on the brink of death"(sinking in the water stabbed by Poseidon trident. I dont know if that happens in the song. The animation i saw showed that)

"I see you draw your final breath"(probably just the future where he eventually dies)

(Currently listening to this😊)

It was amazing! I watched a collecting of animations on youtube. I instantly rewatched it after finishing it.

I was gonna impulse buy tickets till I realized it just had all the songs.

All the songs were 10/10. Everytime I said that song was my favorite? ANOTHER AMAZING ONE CAME ON.

And he finally made it home. After mentioning Penelope in 90% of the songs. I would've came and rewrote the ending if they didn't

It's amazing how he just has a whole musical. The songs, the dialog. Just need a onstage/movie production 💗

10000/10
