I am currently knitting the Key Sweater by petiteknit, with heavy merino and silk mohair held together from Knitting by Olive.

When following the recommended needle size i did not meet gauge on my initial try (goal 18st/10cm, mine was 21sts/10cm, I knit tight).

I ended up frogging the whole thing, and after several swatches, both flat and in the round, I ended up going up a full needle size (giving me 20sts/10cm) and also up a couple of sizes in the pattern after calculating what size would fit best with that gauge.

I’m now at the level of the first stripe, and remeasured the gauge. I get 18sts/10cm.

Now the question is, if I hit the gauge in this one, will the 2 sizes up choice give me a way oversized jumper ?
