I missed my last active pills and have already taken 2 placebo pills. Should I take emergency contraceptives?
Hello! I’m currently taking birth control pills as my only form of contraception. I didn’t realize I accidentally skipped pill #21 (the last active pill), and already took 2 placebo pills 🥲 I noticed that my boobs became sore 2 days ago, and I suspect that’s a side effect. I immediately took the active pill once I remembered to. I was supposed to be on day 3 of the placebo week.
I had unprotected sex today and yesterday. I’m very worried about my chances of pregnancy because of that 1 missed pill (especially since it was the last one, and I might ovulate during the placebo week). Should I take plan B? 🥲 Or can I continue to take my placebo pills like usual?
Also, I’ve been taking my pills normally for the past 7-8 months. Any advice would help. Thank you!
