Hi everyone!

I’m from Canada and I’m planning a 3-day to 1-week solo birthday trip to Texas in May. I’ve never visited Texas before, and I’ve recently fallen in love with country music, so I’m curious to learn more about the culture and experience it respectfully.

I’m not looking for a full itinerary. I’m trying to understand what type of experience I should book or plan. For example: a private or local guide, a small group tour, an all-inclusive ranch stay, or something else.

Ideally, I’d love to have someone show me local places or book something curated, so I’m not just wandering around alone and ending up only at bars or shops.

Activities I’m interested in include attending a rodeo, horseback riding or ranch activities, line dancing, live country music, local food, and just getting a feel for local life.

What would you recommend for this kind of trip? Any specific ranches, guides, tours, or areas in Texas I should look into?

Thank you!
