Watching the new season right now. Every episode there’s like twenty minutes of the main protagonist characters discussing things in labs or various rooms, with no character development, cyclical arguments, and dumb quips that lead no where. “Oh we need to make the V1, but what’s going to happen if we do?!” “Shut up ya bloke” blah blah blah. This scene has happened literally every episode. It just feels like the main characters just sit around waiting for something to happen. Meanwhile actual events are taking place with Homelander and all his side characters. It seems like a massive waste for all the protagonists, when their main objective is to wait around til Frenchie figures something out…it makes it really hard to care lol.
At this point I’m just watching because I’m too far gone and need to see how it concludes.
