Mural I painted for a nursery
First picture is of the nursery partially put together with walls painted, second two are my mockup and grid measurement for placement, and then progress photos!
I used Ben Moore paint for the background and then Chroma Mural Paint for the mural itself. From start to finish the wall itself took about 6 days including dry-time, about 5ish hours per day.
It's my first mural so there was a lot of trial and error, but in the end I'm super proud of how it came out. Shout-out to my mom and husband for being helping hands with this endeavor and being there for me to bounce ideas off of and give suggestions, as well as putting up with me when I was worried it wasn't perfect at the end of every single day. My husband had the idea to add the highlights to the spaceship and the cat, and then added them himself, and I think that really pulled it together.
Some of the edges aren't as sharp as I'd like and I would've liked more time to play with the planets and mushrooms, but all in all it turned out better than I could've imagined.
