Hi everyone,

I’m looking to get the Zemismart Matter smart curtains for my small apartment, but I’m confused about the hub requirements. I currently have no other smart equipment, no Nest hubs, no HomePods, just my iphone (and gf android).

I see two versions available: Matter over WiFi and Matter over Thread.

I'm pretty sure the matter over thread requière a hub so the question is does the matter over wifi also require an extra hub device to control it via a smartphone? I use an iPhone and gf an android.

I just want to be able to use an app to set schedules and open/close them without having to buy of extra device. Which version should I go with?
