Quick intro: I'm new here and I'm seriously considering making the switch from my Apple Watch to a Garmin. I've been going down the rabbit hole of comparisons and reviews for a while now, but the more I read, the more unsure I get. 😅

I had basically narrowed it down to two options: the Forerunner 265 and the Venu 4. The 265 ticked a lot of boxes for me, but one thing held me back a little – it's been out for a few years now and the sensors aren't exactly the latest generation anymore.

Now with the new Forerunner 170 models just dropping, things feel even less clear. It got me wondering: if Garmin is releasing new Forerunners right now, could a 265 successor potentially be just around the corner too?
