WTF nexlinq app
So Phanteks pushed out yet another NexLinq update — 1.4.0.2 — and guess what?
Still no hub detection. Still no USB handshake. Still no actual functionality.
But hey, at least the UI colours look nice, right?
I’ve emailed Phanteks support multiple times now, because that’s what they tell you to do.
And by “support”, I mean a black hole where messages go to die.
You could shout into a cave and get more meaningful feedback.
At this point I’m convinced the email inbox is just a decorative prop.
Maybe it’s printed on the box for legal reasons.
Maybe it forwards directly to /dev/null.
Maybe a hamster is supposed to check it but the poor thing quit months ago.
Meanwhile the app still reads CPU/GPU temps from Windows like a champ,
but the actual Phanteks hub — you know, the thing the software is for —
might as well be a ghost.
So yeah, another update, another round of “nothing works but RGB passthrough”.
If anyone else has managed to get an actual reply from Phanteks support,
please tell me your secrets.
