What's the longest a Quality review should take? It's almost 6 months

Im an autistic male and I was incarcerated for a crime I did not commit and was injured in prison. The injury to my neck resulted in me not being able to walk or use my right arm. I was told by guards I was faking my injury after only being given an xray and was left to suffer for 3 years until I was finally released to be homeless and lost everything even my dog....

After my release told I'd need surgery by my neurologist. I applied for SSI in March 2025 denied in June or July but I was at rehab from the surgery so when I returned to the shelter I was staying I had to file an appeal and did that in September. I've been in pt and OT since surgery and go to both twice a week... I was sent to the SSI doctor January 30th who immediately said "wow you were denied?!?" He then turned to his computer and asked me basic questions and then was like okay were all done! He didn't do all the physical tests everyone was saying he would have to do even though I wouldn't have been able to, he didn't even ask me to try....

Since that day my progress bar moved from step 3 to step 4 of 5 and has sat there since January 30th. I called and the lady 2 days ago and she said it's in "Quality Review" and she can't tell me if I was approved or not but she sent a message to the payment center(?!?) to contact me because it's been over 90 days in quality review.

1.What's the longest this should take?!?

  1. What's the likelihood I'd be approved (disabilities listed below 👇🏾 👇🏾 👇🏾)

3 How much should be back pay?

A. I'm Autistic

B. 80% bilateral hearing loss

C.Elhers-Danlos-Syndrom (hyper mobile joints arthritis everywhere easily injured bruised and cut must avoid injuries) wheelchair bound since prison (I had no mobility issues prior)

D. use of only left arm and partial ability in right arm. Had surgery to remove spinal fistula last year with no improvement except the shooting pain.

E. diagnosed with severe PTSD (medicated with therapy)

F. anxiety and depressive disorders (medicated with therapy)

Any advice would be great and I will be making another post regarding the entire incarceration as I'm looking for legal help for both the initial arrest and the injury caused by guards including sexual assault, and harassment after I reported it, the fact I had to sneak and call CT state police to report the incident as everyone all the way up to the warden knew about it but didn't make a report as well as being sent to the hole for not hearing a command when I didn't have my hearing aids (the situation that caused the injury and sexual assault by a guard).
