I have camped out a number of times in my life, however between the ages of around 21 to my current age of 33 I’ve not really done much camping. I was in a Boy Scout equivalent program and I am pretty familiar with setting up a tent. Do I need refreshers on camping generally especially since I’m aspiring on taking my family out, which is me my wife in a four-year-old with a medium to large dog. With the market being flooded with instant tents and even pop-up tents, I’m trying to get a handle of which are reliable and sturdy while still being very convenient as far as set up speed. The last thing I want is to be able to quickly put up a tent and the elements tear it down just as quick or faster. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
