Diplo is going to take your money but doesn't think you deserve music made by humans when he collects a check from Roo that we collectively pay for. I wasn't planning on attending Major Lazer cause his 2024 set was boring as fuck, but seeing how he shills for big-tech about AI generated music and not other AI implementations that are taking place in the music production process that automate tedious tasks in a studio, just sponsors from music generation platforms.

My personal opinion is: fuck this idiot, I'm not going to his set and you should consider whether or not he represents the music industry you want to support or not. Cause if it were up to him Noah Kahan would just be an AI generated voice and video instead a person who's going to perform on a stage for us, and I do not like that idea.

This is not a political statement about AI or Data Center development, it is a post about what we are choosing to value, and support while emerging technology is posturing to completely change the landscape of the music and touring industry that Bonnaroo is a part of. I am interested in hearing how other people feel about this too.

This thing is an absolute thumper dumper. It's amazing. Loaded with an NSW-6021 and we are running it with a CDi2000 we bought from a church.

This thing makes my house feel like a festival, you can feel it from 80 feet away, and I haven't even turned it up as far as my amp can push it.

We had a local CNC shop cut the parts using the JW Sound fusion file. I would recommend removing the dados from the side panels if the CNC shop you are buying your parts from doesn't ever do cabinet or furniture assembly. All the other dados that are in there are very useful, and all you would really need is a palm sander and a mallet to get the parts slotted in if the dados came out too tight.

Next time I cut parts, I'm going to cut them with a table saw and dado stack.

We did all of our assembly with 1 1/4'' staples, and expanding glue in all the airtight joints.
