I check the world news page sometimes to see what libs are talking about. Some things I notice
- At any given time, half the posts are about russia/ukraine
- on posts about other subjects like Iran, Israel, Gaza, Congo, Sudan, China etc, the comments are fairly ambivalent.
- On posts about Russia there is no ambivalence. This is good versus evil and Putin is the devil himself
Is this a hangover of russiagate? I mean obviously the invasion of ukraine wasn't good but why is this the one issue that makes them so mad
