DO NOT USE Plymouth Van Lines. Don't get caught by their deception. Tell you one thing do another.
I will just give you the short version. I vetted many companies for my move from SoCal to North Idaho. I selected PVL thinking that they were trustworthy and fair. THAT WAS FALSE!!!!!!
I'm expecting an 18 wheeler to pull in to pick up based on what the estimator said when visiting. When a 26' truck pulled up I was shocked. But, the mover said "ya we'll fit it all". 8 hours later at 9pm the truck was full front to back and 10% of my stuff was not on the truck. Now what? I had to literally spend another day throwing stuff we wanted away and then rent a trailer to take the stuff i could. ARGH the wife is still crying.
Once your stuff is on their truck they pretty much got you. You are now a hostage to their deceptive practices.
I called they say you can pay more and we'll come get it. What??? I said "Your guy came out here and said it will all fit. We didn't sneak stuff in. Your guy blew it and underestimated."
Really nice gal answers the phone. Estimator is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He'll say whatever it takes to get you in his grasp. DON'T FALL FOR IT. Let me be your lesson.
BTW i had at least 5 movers say that our stuff would not fit in a 26' truck. Not too mention if i did contract with a company with a 26' truck i would have saved $2000+-.
Moving companies are snakes. This snake will say "ya we have some bad reviews but, our BBB rating is high" to appease you about their negative reviews. I am telling you as someone who got completely screwed by these guys, DO NOT CONSIDER PLYMOUTH VAN LINES. Just move on to the next company.
They will likely post a BS reply to this. PLEASE DON'T BUY IT. THEY ARE A DIRTY COMPANY AND LIES DON'T CHANGE THAT.
