Lost Necklace Possibly Sold on the Street in Schaumburg, IL
I accidentally left an invaluable and extremely sentimental necklace at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites on Algonquin Road in Schaumburg, IL. I filed a police report and through the investigation with the staff, the hotel mentioned that someone checked into the same room I had been in the evening after I left. The person that stayed in the room was interviewed by the police and stated they are a street jeweler and the police believe this person may have found and then sold the necklace for cash.
I am desperately searching still for this necklace as it is so very important to me. The necklace was a rose gold bar with a single, off-center diamond on it. The diamond was from my mom’s engagement ring to my dad. She passed in 2018. She and I designed this necklace together before her passing and it means everything to me. I am absolutely devastated with this loss and nothing would make me happier than to get this necklace back.
