hey everyone, honestly didn’t think I’d be making another post like this, but a while back someone here was kind enough to gift me a game I really wanted, so I figured I’d swallow my pride and give it another shot. I’d absolutely love the chance to play Stellar Blade.

Back when it was still PS5 exclusive, neither me nor my closest gaming friend could play it since since I only have a steam deck and a switch, while he just had a laptop. By the time the pc version finally released, life had kind of pulled us in different directions. He moved away for university, and since last may we’ve only managed to see each other oncr.

We used to talk about the game a lot during all the trailers and marketing leading up to release, so getting to finally experience it now would honestly mean a lot to me. The problem is that with university expenses and everything else, buying new games just isn’t something I can really justify right now.

Part of why I’m so interested in it is because I’m a massive nier automata fan. I played through it on my ancient Switch, went through almost every ending, even the one off joke ones, spent way too many hours grinding for chips, and in the end gave away my save data like the game intended. Ever since hearing stellar blade’s soundtrack and seeing the clear inspiration it takes, i’ve wanted to get my hands on it even more!

And honestly, it’d feel nice to play something that reminds me of those conversations I used to have with my friend, especially now that he’s drifted away from gaming a bit outside of mobile games.

If nothing comes from this, i'll still try to save up over the summer and buy it myself eventually. I just thought it wouldn’t hurt to try asking here first. Either way, thanks for taking the time to read this, and thanks for keeping this community so welcoming.
