Combined 401K $600k at 50
We still owe 60k on the house and have young children at home. I feel like we are so far off from where we need to be and could potentially throw more at savings but I’m scared of the way things are going right now. How do you manage these fears when you are a pretty low risk individual?
Would it make more sense to throw the extra $700/mo I can eke out of our budget at paying off the house right now if putting more in 401k makes me crazy anxious?
