Part of the Dartmouth decisions were released yesterday. A friend from college (4-year) got accepted yesterday, another got their rejection, and I believe someone else here, also from a 4-year institution, commented about having been accepted yesterday. That makes me believe the results have been, rather than releasing tonight and next Tuesday, scheduled for dropping yesterday and next Monday.
I believe there’s no categorical pattern on that, btw, because yesterday’s batch has included both acceptances and rejections, and for example my friends’ decisions were released while mine wasn’t. Maybe financial aid takes longer, maybe not; maybe some admissions officers were done with their stuff earlier, maybe not; maybe the council is reviewing in alphabetical order, maybe not. The bottom line is: don’t worry if you haven’t heard from them yet. Focus on finals week, and let’s keep hoping for the best!
