I think by now those who listen to Phil bergs tracks, he has that signature processed 909 kick. I have tried so many times to replicate it and I’m honestly at my whits end with it. It’s such a clean kick.

I was wondering if people knew how to create something similar to it.

Another thing I hear on his tracks is like a rolling tom bass. How does he get it to sit so nicely with the kick? When I try to make Tom bases they go crazy when looking at a spectral analyzer and often very overpowering. Any tips for this too?
