The decal sheet for the Airfix Best of British has these weird markings on them that can be wiped off. I'm not sure what it is?
This is also the first time I've had decals crack like this. I have followed the same process with other models with the same products and not had issues like this (humbrol clear gloss varnish and humbrol decalfix). I think this decal sheet might be lower quality and thats what is causing the issues. I feel this kit is cursed lol.
I also had an issue with the acrylic paint being stripped off with humbrol enamel thinner when doing pannel lining even with 2/3 layers of gloss varnish. This has only happened with acrylic paint as the outside coat, I assume the gloss reactivated the paint (both water based)?
