From simple world clocks to a dark web experience: The evolution of my horror project.
Hi everyone!
I shared the first version of Killer Clocks here just 3 days ago. It was a simple tool with a Death Clock calculator and some spooky world clocks. The feedback was great, but I felt it could be much more immersive.
So, after 3 days of zero sleep and a complete rewrite of the code, I’ve transformed it into a full atmospheric horror hub.
What’s new in the "Underworld":
- Underworld Chat: A "live" feed where you intercept cryptic and disturbing messages being sent between entities in Heaven and Hell.
- Dark Web Prank (?) & Mystery Box: Added some interactive "Dark Web" style elements. Open the Mystery Box if you dare, but be careful what you trigger.
- Pick a Door & Read Your Fortune: New interactive fate-based games. One choice leads to a fortune, the other... well, you'll see.
- The Last Text Ever Sent: A collection of chilling final messages.
- Horror Quiz & Death Clock: Test your survival instincts or find out your "expiration date" based on your lifestyle choices.
- The Diaries: Deep-dive into dark lore and scary entries that expand the Killer Clocks universe.
The Aesthetic: I’ve overhauled the UI to feel like a forbidden terminal. Added fog effects, flickering lights, and improved the "glow" to be sharp and atmospheric without losing readability on mobile.
Coming in the Next Update: The ritual is not over. I’m currently developing:
- Ouija Board: An interactive session to speak with the "others".
- Decode the Message: Cryptographic puzzles for the detectives of the dark.
- The Ritual Sections: A step-by-step interactive horror experiment.

I’d love to hear your feedback! Which section creeped you out the most? Does the "Dark Web" vibe work for you?
